10.1-inch Biometric Time Clock, the GKGD101E-TAW, is an industrial grade Android biometric time clock kiosk with built-in barcode scanner, fingerprint reader and RFID reader. The device also supports a 5MP front facing camera that can be used for facial recognition. You can install time clock apps such as ADP time kiosk from Play Store that can leverage facial recognition and optional barcode scanner for employee and staff identification. You can also authenticate users with RFID 125KHz badge reader. Note that to use the fingerprint reader, you will need to integrate your app with the provided SDK. The device is perfect for OEMs who wish to develop or integrate their in house developed time clock applications to provide a purpose-built secure time clock kiosk leveraging multi-factor authentication mechanism.
Data connectivity includes built-in RJ45 port for ethernet or POE support, WIFI and Bluetooth. Optional support for LTE wireless connection is also available.
Use cases:
Barcode reader: The barcode reader is ideal for use cases where QR codes are issued to employees who can hold up their mobile phones to get identified.
Facial Recognition: Time clock apps that use facial recognition can leverage the front facing camera.
Fingerprint scanner: The unit uses industrial strength fingerprint scanner. SDK is available for third party application developers to develop their time clock apps leveraging the fingerprint scanner. Some Off-the-shelf time clock apps that make use of the Android default fingerprint scanner found on mobile phones.
RFID Reader: The RFID reader scanner supports 125KHz. You can use the badge reader to authenticate users using contact less cards.
The 10.1-inch Biometric Time Clock is made of brushed aluminum allow that is anti-corrosive.
The 10.1-inch Biometric Time Clock is touchscreen is installed with Android 11 OS.
For OEM developers, SDK for fingerprint scanner is provided to integrate with the time clock apps.
Kiosk mode operation is supported via MDM or third party kiosk browser lockdown app. Custom ROM with your branding and pre-loaded app for a purpose built single app integrated experience is an option.
