The GK-SM08M is an 8-inch Android smart home controller that simplifies the management of all your smart devices through a single, intuitive interface. Running on Android 13 and powered by the RK3568 Quad-Core Cortex-A55 processor, it offers a smooth, reliable, and user-friendly experience, ideal for both home and commercial environments. You can install apps like Sonos, Russound or other home automation apps and operate in kiosk mode. It also supports building automation apps such as Niagara.
The display screen resolution is 800×1280 with 5ion. point capacitive touch panel. The unit supports POE 802.at with a rear facing RJ45 making it convenient to install on gang boxes and hide all the cabling. For home automation, the display can connect to devices using Bluetooth
This GK-SM08M 8″ Android smart home controller supports RS485 interface that can be used to communicate and manage HVAC systems. OEM customizations include custom ROM with pre-installed applications launched on boot up. The GK-SM08M allows you to launch straight into the app after boot up and operate in kiosk mode (single App mode). You can use third party apps such as Kiosk browser lock down or fully kiosk single app for kiosk operation.
The touchscreen controller is based on Android 13 OS. Mounts flush in wall on US Gang box.
