The GK-AL215-KDS 21.5-inch Android touch screen computers are purpose-built for restaurant point-of-sale (POS) and kitchen display system (KDS) applications. Housed in a durable aluminum enclosure, these touch screens efficiently dissipate heat. The front panel is IP65 waterproof with an optically bonded touch screen display that resists grease and oil—ideal for demanding kitchen environments. Anti-glare coating with high brightness screen delivers high visibility in most kitchen environments.
The GK-AL215-KDS 21.5-inch support built-in Power over Ethernet (POE) streamlining installation by delivering power and data through a single CAT5 cable. Alternatively, for those sites where POE is not available, I these devices can be powered with the included AC adapter via DC input, with networking handled through either Ethernet or Wi-Fi.
The device is compatible with a range of popular KDS applications, including Fresh KDS and Square, which are readily available for download via the Google Play Store.
For remote management, the device is compatible with several leading mobile device management (MDM) solutions such as Esper, Airdroid, Meraki, ManageEngine and others
The device supports 100×100 VESA. You can use any commercially available VESA mounts for mounting the unit on wall, desktop or on ceiling.
Customizations
For OEMs, custom ROM can be created for boot launching application for single purpose operation.
