Geekland offers a range of Rugged Tablets & Mobile Handhelds that are designed to operate under harsh environments in applications such as field services, construction, fleet management. factory floors and so on. Customers have a choice between Windows based rugged tablets or Android OS.
Windows OS Rugged Tablets
The windows OS based Rugged Tablets & Mobile Handhelds are based on Intel based CPUs and offer a high degree of performance at an economical price. The W-Series of tablets are based on Intel Baytrail Quad Core processor and can be loaded with Microsoft Office 7 Pro or Office 10 pro OS for full business productivity. These units are certified for MIL-STD-810G and support a host of accessories including bar code scanner, NFC/RFID reader, docking station and handstraps.
We also offer ARM based platforms with Windows Embedded OS for applications that require a lower foot print than a full Windows 10 based OS.
Android OS
We offer fully ruggedized and semi-ruggedized Android based Rugged Tablets & Mobile Handhelds. We have choices between Intel or ARM based platforms. Ruggedized tablets range from 7″ to 12″ in display size and support a host of features including bar code scanner and NFC/RFID.
GK-ST8-QC 8″ Android Rugged Tablet with 1D/2D Barcode scanner
This rugged 8" inch Rugged Tablet with barcode scanner and RFID reader is designed for industrial and retail warehousing applications in mind. The unit supports 1d and 2d barcode scanners (optional) that allow you to scan barcodes at a distance of upto 3 feet or more. The tablet boasts a high performance Qualcomm based CPU running Android OS 8.1 and up to 3GB of RAM that can easily run your apps without any effort. The unit supports a large battery and with built-in OS power optimization can run upto 8 hours or more.
The unit has several hot buttons for quick access to key features. This allows you to operate the unit easily with your gloves on making it ideal for environments such as warehouses and plants where workers typically operate the units with safety wear.
