The 7″ Android POE device will boot up immediately on power-on as it does not require any hard On/Off button. There is also a back USB port that can be configured as a host or device mode. Optional interfaces include RS232 and RS485 making it a versatile system for integration with peripherals such as printers and other serial devices.

The PoE technology features a system that safely transfers electrical power, along with data to remote devices over standard category 5 cable in an Ethernet network. It does not require modification of existing Ethernet cabling infrastructure, so deployment is simplified. This Android wall mount touch screen offers cost-effective solution by bringing power and data transfer via a standard twisted pair Ethernet cabling in a network for faster time to market. Powered by the powerful 1.2GHz ARM Cortex quad core processor, this tablet is designed to give you high performance with long shelf life and is designed to operate on a 24×7 basis.

Application developers can control the color and the brightness of the status bar to suggest a status of a specific operation or state of the system. This is a useful feature in applications such as room status display or access control.
